The Thorntwaite Inheritance.

The Thorntwaite Inheritance
Gareth. P. Jones, BLOOMSBURY

The Thorntwaite Inheritance is the story of sister and brother twins, Lorelli and Ovid, whose parents were murdered in the house they now live in. However Lorelli and Ovid are not like most 13 year olds. They have been trying to kill each other for years. Literally! Ever since their parents died they have been unsuccsesfully trying to find ways to chop off one anothers head or shoot the other ones brains out. But now they are old enough to get their inheritance and must find out who killed their parents in order to receive it.

An absoulutley thrilling read. Gareth has done an outstanding job with this book. Hope there's a part 2. 11/10

To much for my tummy

Porridge for breakfast
And two helpings of beans,
A bowl full of cornflakes
And to finish it cheese!

And if that's not enough
I'll tell you what is
Vegetable soup and potato
mixed.

For desert I had ice-cream
With some strawberries on top
A dollop of whipped cream
All in one gulp.

At the end of it all
I run to the bathroom
And I think
You know what happens next

I put my head
Over the sink
And SPLAT I get sick!!

Our Radiator

Our radiator is the worst,
It always is about to burst.
It hisses and squeals,
It sprays and shoots,
but it never, ever, ever works.

Its got a blown pipe,
And a hole at the top.
It is covered in rust.
It may as well be bust!

It,s been painted over,
several times,
But still it always looks likes slime.

It's been glued back together,
but that never worked.
And by the way,
BOOM. It blows up.

NOT based on a true story.

Book review of Brisingr ( book 3 of the inheritance)

Brisingr by Chritopher Paolini
CORGI PRESS

Now that Eragon is at Ellesmera and learning fast from Oromis he and Saphira must go and fight a large battle targeted at stopping Galbatorax' reign but before Eragon goes he must decide whether to love or to leave. He might decide to go but you never know, now that he is an elf he can love but the fate of the rest of Alagesia rests on his shoulders.

The books just keep getting better with Christopher. He could not have found a better way to write the third ( but not final ) book. So amazing, can't find the words to describe it. 11/10

In this continuation of book one Eragon is now safely in the Varden and with Durza killed must now go to Ellesmera, land of the Elves, where he will resume his training to become a proper Dragon rider. Once again he sets off this time with Arya (which if you’ve read book one is the woman who transported the egg to Eragon). Will he triumph in his quest or will he end up losing yet another friend.

In this book Christopher is at his best and really makes you feel like you are in the book yourself. A thrilling adventure. One which you should not miss. 10/10
